About DOT Physical Exams
Federal law requires a qualified medical examiner to complete your DOT physical form. Our ATA Healthcare Providers will review your health history and the medications you take on a regular basis. We will perform a physical exam that includes an eye test, neurological exam, blood pressure, and more. We will also perform an examination of your heart, lungs, eyes, throat, mouth, and ears. DOT medical certificates are issued for a variety of time periods with the longest certificate being valid for a 2 year period.
